I’m Chris Tijerino, the founder, and I want to personally welcome you to a creative family built on collaboration, passion, and purpose. Miami Artist United is more than just a group—it's a movement.
We're a community of filmmakers, actors, singers, photographers, editors, and more, all working together to grow, create, and support one another.
Our mission is simple: To create a space where creativity thrives, careers are supported, and every artist has a voice. Whether it's short films, music videos, photo shoots, workshops, or social mixers, we're here to make magic together.
We believe in respect, support, and professionalism. That means showing up, giving credit, being kind, and holding each other to a high standard. We have a leadership team to keep things running smoothly, but everyone’s voice matters. If you’ve got ideas, energy, or passion, we want it.

Who We Are
Miami Artist United is a diverse, dynamic collective of filmmakers, actors, musicians, photographers, editors, writers, and creatives from all walks of life. We’re united by our passion for storytelling, visual expression, and the pursuit of artistic excellence.
What We Do
We create together. From short films and music videos to photo shoots, workshops, and live showcases, we collaborate on projects that challenge us and elevate our craft. We also host networking mixers and creative labs where members can connect, grow, and share opportunities.

Because we believe that art has the power to inspire change, build community, and tell the stories that matter. Miami is bursting with untapped talent, and we’re here to bring it together, creating a space where creativity thrives, careers are built, and everyone has a voice.

Mission Statement
Miami Artist United exists to empower filmmakers, actors, musicians, photographers, and other creatives by providing a supportive community that fosters collaboration, professional growth, and artistic expression. Through projects, workshops, showcases, and social gatherings, we aim to break barriers, share opportunities, and build a culture of respect, unity, and bold creativity.

Organizational Structure
General Director: (voted in by leadership team)
- Holds final decision-making authority
- Appoints and oversees the Leadership Team
- Ensures alignment with the group’s mission.
Leadership Team (Appointed by Director):
Creative Director: Guides the artistic vision of projects
Community Coordinator: Manages member engagement and communications
Project Manager: Organizes shoots, schedules, and events
Event & Social Lead: Plans workshops, showcases, and mixers
Media & Content Lead: Handles social media, photos, and video documentation.
Leadership meets monthly or as needed.
Membership
Open to artists of all disciplines
- Members must uphold group values and contribute positively
- No dues at this time, but members may be asked to help cover light costs (e.g., food/drinks on shoots)
